I’ve been seeing a guy for 3 months, we instantly clicked, have so much in common, he’s so kind, caring and understanding, and wants to take care of me… I’ve never had someone treat me so good. Around Christmas his ex found out he was seeing me and started messaging him. He told me that he’s still struggling with getting over everything that happened between them (they were together 5 years and just broke up 6 months ago). He clearly needs time to heal but I have gotten so attached to him, I literally can’t let him go but it’s killing me that they are talking. He keeps telling me he will never go back to and never could because she cheated and treated him horribly. Has anyone been through something similar and have advice? I’ll take anything at this point.
