So, we are finally pregnant with our rainbow baby. We are trying to come up with names. My fiancés father passed away a few years ago, and he wants to the baby Charlie for a girl, after his late father Charles. I LOVE that idea, however, my brother and SIL had a stillbirth 8 years ago, and they lost a little boy they named Charlie. I really don’t want to hurt them by choosing that name, but I really don’t want to disappoint or hurt my fiancé by asking for another name as he’s very excited and stuck to this one for obvious sentimental reasons. I’m obviously going to ask how my brother and SIL feel about it (however I am not yet ready to tell them about the pregnancy as it’s early and we just got over a miscarriage ourselves.) I’m just afraid if they are bothered by it, I would be upset to have to change it or upset that I hurt them by even asking. I don’t even want to bring it up. Any advice??
