Bit of a late post but ive been stuck in a baby bubble. My third and last babygirl decided she wanted to arrive 4 weeks early at 36 weeks. Stood up out of bed at 1.30am and my waters broke, was told to go up the hospital to check if it was defo my waters and it was confirmed and i was 3cm dialated... labour happened quickly (all my labours are quick after my waters break) but babys head was sitting behind my cervix and midwife wouldnt let me get on my knees to help pull her down. (Im in the uk and for some reason since having my other 2 daughters rules have changed and you dont seem to have much freedom) they tried to rush me to theatre to put me to sleep but while running down the corridor with me on the bed i pushed as hard as i could and delivered her myself. She had the cord wrapped tightly round her neck and sadly had to be resuscitated for 11 minutes. Were lucky to have our babygirl in our arms! 3 days in hospital and was allowed to finally bring her home. Its been so surreal spending christmas as a family of 5... Little babygirl Frankie was born 7th december 6.25am <3 and we are all in love with her xxx good luck all mamas still waiting for their January babies to make their arrival.
