Oil Pulling

Question

Has anyone done oil pulling to remove sebaceous filaments? I’ve been trying to use an oil based cleanser & massaging into my skin for about 5 minutes a couple of different occasions now and I’m not having results. Thanks!

My knowledge of oil pulling is when you swish it around in your mouth to help reduce bacteria, gum disease, gingivitis, etc.  Extra bonus that it can help with sinus issues.  I’m not seeing how that type of oil pulling would help with your issues since it’s on the “outside”.  You more than likely need an exfoliating cleanser a few times a week to help reduce the size.  You can’t get rid of them altogether

Sebaceous filaments are a completely normal part of all peoples skin. Trying to remove them will probably just cause more damage to you skin than anything. Learn to love the way you are <3
