complete septate uterus with extension to the cervix
Hello! I was told for years I had a BU. I’ve had 6 miscarriages and all had no abnormalities. Finally got referred to specialist to get more answers.
My MRI results show that I have a complete septate uterus to at extends into my cervix. I am waiting on the surgery department to call me to schedule surgery. My doctor said resection of septum is definitely the appropriate next step and will do it under laparoscopic guidance, which will add a couple of days to recovery but a WHOLE bunch to safety and accuracy of the procedure.
I have so many questions! Has anyone had this same thing done? What was the pain like? Does the camera in your belly button hurt? When they go in through your vagina, do they stretch you out and you’re sore after? What is recovery time like? Did you have to get multiple surgeries to remove it? Did you have scar tissue and then have it removed too?
I am soooo nervous!! I need some help! Thanks! 🙏 🫶
