Night weaning tips? Preferably gentle!

Any tips on gentle night weaning? 
My son is 15 months, just want to stop night feeds…

At 15 months, i would push milk/food during the day, and if he wakes up at night, send your partner in to console/snuggle so he knows the boob isnt an option.

I just night weaned my son who is 13 months. I just stopped cold turkey on giving him an option to nurse. Now when wakes up I offer water, or a snack and I just try to console him if those two don’t work. I believe it has been a week so far and he has only nursed once on the time frame and shows no interest in it.
