Okay so quick background. I am 27, was only on birth control from 18-20. My periods for the last 7 years have been religiously regular. Always on time, and I usually start spotting 2 days beforehand.

I was supposed to start on 1/12.. the day came and went and I hadn’t started bleeding yet.. so I took a test. It was negative.

Today is 1/13, I have yet to start bleeding.. I will note there has been some cramping today.

We have been trying for 4 months now, and this is the first time I’ve ever been late on my period..

I don’t really have any girl friends to talk this through with.. I feel like I just need to let go of the hope that it might be a false negative.. but I want to hear other women’s experiences…
