Hospital bag.. or case?

Currently 36 weeks pregnant & working on perfecting my hospital bag as much as i can😅 i'm wanting to bring a blanket of my own & have seen many others bring towels & robes also. My little duffle cannot hold all that crap- do y'all think i'd look crazy rolling in with a suitcase? Obviously not a huge one but like a carry on size? I figured it'd be easier for dad also since he is the designated bag carrier😂

I bring a carry on learned after my first it’s very useful and I don’t really care what anyone might want to comment on it. With our first we did a couple small bags and didn’t have hands to carry everything we were handed while staying there.

I am packing like I am going for a one night stay at an Air b n b because that is kinda what its like at the midwife center. 
I followed a packing list I found online. I was considering buying a duffle bag but I figured it was a little much to buy a bag just for one purpose when I have reusable tote bags and suitcases. Whatever fits what you need to bring.
I think its good to be prepared and everyone will appreciate you for it. The hospital or birthing center will want you to have what you need and your family or whomever will not wnd up going on a run home for you to get this that and the other thing. 
I am bringing the following:
Nursing bras
A water dress for the birthing tub (i bought a bathing suit that is a “dress with shorts” and plan to wear just the dress part in the birthing tub if needed. 
A robe
Slippers
Socks
A kit of natural body care items- I bought a small bag with refillable travel containers and filled them with my favorite shampoo and conditioner, baby soap, liquid coconut oil, (for lubrication to support labor as well as for breast ointment) a pray bottle of witch hazel (for perineal spray and general skin health) a lip balm, lavender essential oil, toothpaste, toothbrush
Baby bottles
Clothes, baby hat, diapers, and 2 swaddling blankets for the baby
Period underwear
A fresh pair of sweatpants and a loose fitting cotton T-shirt to go home in
A few baby washcloths
Phone charger
Lavender essential oil room spray
Honey sticks because it was recommended by a midwife as one of the few things they will allow me to eat in labor for energy
My favorite big insulated cup with straw to make sure I drink a lot of water
A towel
Headphones and a bluetooth speaker in case I would like to listen to my hypnobirthing audio and so I can play some nice music or nature sounds for the baby when we first bond.
Make sure the car seat is installed!

All I can say is pack that baby!!! I went into early labor and had my little bean yesterday at 4pm! Bring whatever the heck you want, you won’t regret it🩷🤞 best of luck love!!

Honestly, you just take what you think you’re gonna need need and use everybody is different if you think you need it then take it. ❤️ I don’t think it’s a right or wrong answer😊

We did our small suitcase but we are also bringing our toddler so we had to pack for all 3 of us plus the babies stuff! 😊 it’s your birth! Be comfortable 🫶🏻

I had a duffle bag that held my stuff and a take home outfit for baby. My husband brings a backpack with what he wants to bring. But I also let him go home to rest, get the house ready, etc if he wants to.

Both last time and this time we’re taking one large duffle with clothes and hygiene items plus another large over the shoulder bag with snacks for my hubby and last minute items plus an empty bag for cleaning out the stash of diapers, wipes, etc that they leave in the room for you (plus my husband will inevitably ask the staff to bring us more to take home lol)
