I (24f) am dating my coworker (24m) for some time now. He is from Bali, I'm from Balkans. He has been the most amazing boyfriend so far, I've been so happy and having so much fun. He says he talks with his mum about me and she invited me to visit them over videocall. Now comes the "problem". I posted on reddit asking for advice on meeting his family and general ideas of marriage there. Some girls texted me saying to be careful, that indonesian people cheat a lot, that there are "85% chances he already has arranged marriage or wife and children at home". It really got in my head and now I'm starting to worry. I don't think cheating is specific to a country or any of other things yet i'm worried. Yes, i will talk with him about it. I don't think he is using me for money either like they say because he pays for everything and has better wage and higher position than me. So, what am i to do, trust everything is fine or give a chance to some online girls?
