Picky eater? My son won’t eat

My son is almost 2 years old. He won’t eat anything I put on his tray. I’ve tried all approaches like feeding him myself and making it fun, to letting him explore his food and play with it, all of it… he just won’t eat. Unless it’s oatmeal. That’s about the only thing I can get him to eat.

I know he will eat when he’s genuinely hungry but I feel like what he is eating isn’t enough. It’s stressing me out. This isn’t my first time either. I have a 5 year old girl and she went thru similar phases but her brother’s phases seem to last longer than hers ever did. Ugh. Anyone else go thru this? What did you do? My approaches that worked with his older sister aren’t with him so I feel lost and stressed. Just want my baby to eat and be healthy.

Obviously calling his pediatrician tomorrow but just wanted to hear from you all as well.
