My 3 month old only wants to sleep on me and won’t let me set her down. I know she’s still little and needs the snuggles. But I can’t get anything done! I’m desperate. I have another child to also care for and if she’s not in the mood and sleepy she will scream. I know everyone’s approach is different but I’d like to hear y’all’s suggestions. And i should mention it’s only during the daytime naps. She sleeps great during the night. I make sure to wait to put her to bed until I know she’s tired and giving me cues. I take her to a dark room with white noise and I’ll rock her in my arms a bit to calm her down before laying her in her bed. Actually I usually wait until she’s basically sleeping then lay her down. And she will seem fine but then will wake up 5 or 10 minutes later. And when she wakes up. She wakes up fully. It takes forever to put her back to sleep. The only way she really wants to sleep is in my arms. But lately she’s even having trouble doing that. She squirms and whines like she can’t get comfortable. It’s frustrating for her and me. Any help it welcome!!
