Hi everyone I’m new to this birth control thing I’m taking the POPs and for the past few months I’ve kept my BC pills in my car because my parents are nosey and go through my stuff and I just feel safer keeping them in my car I live in North America so the weather has gotten very cold lately, I didn’t really read the instructions carefully until I saw that it said that I had to keep my BC in room temperature. I’ve been taking them and they have been working fine this whole time but it has gotten a LOT colder the past few weeks so I’m worried about the effectiveness of the pill… should I just go to the pharmacy and start over with new pills or should I be okay? Has anyone have gone through this before I’m so new to this whole BC pills and I know I should’ve been more responsible my last period was on the 28th of December and I have been testing regularly to make sure I’m not pregnant. Please help I’m really worried now 🥲.
