I'm so glad we have a snow day today because last week sent me. I had this mom so angry because one of my teachers was at a bar taking shots on a weekend. I asked her was it on school property and she said " I told you it was at the bar." I said "Then that isn't my business what he does on his free time." She says it's illegal for teachers to drink publicly. I said it's no illegal. Some districts have certain rules. This district isn't one of them. She proceeds to yell at how unprofessional it is for a teacher to be drinking in public and I need to do something and she doesn't want this teacher(who is a great teacher btw) teaching the future generation. I smiled and said "Ma'am. If you have a problem with what our teachers do on their free time, then maybe you should consider homeschooling." She got mad and said she's taking this to the school board and left. Honestly good luck to her. We have over 900 teacher vacancies in our county because nobody wants to teach. Honestly she could go and say a teacher has an only fans and school board will most likely not do anything. I'm trying to keep the teachers we have and the amount of parents I get complaining about idiotic things is ridiculous.
