How did you get pregnant? Were you trying or stopped tryong

It’s frustrating when people tell you to “stop trying and you will get pregnant” so I’m seeing if it’s true

Both times I got pregnant naturally we were “on a break” from ttc. First time was 2020 but I miscarried at 8w in between we saw a fertility specialist because we had struggled for two years before that pregnancy to conceive, and weren’t pregnant several months after the loss. We have male factor infertility, they said there would be no chance of us getting pregnant on our own again and recommend IVF. We started IVF in fall of 2021 , out of three embryos & 2 transfers we got pregnant fall of 2022 but miscarried at 6w2d I should’ve been 7w5d . We took a year off and I got pregnant in this past October 2023 but we unfortunately lost that baby at 11 weeks 💔 it definitely seems to happen when we stop trying . But it’s different for everyone. If you’re having unprotected sex you’re not not trying so I guess we just got lucky

I didn’t fully stop trying, but we were at the point I was going to get doctors involved. I started tracking with digital opks just to take the stress out of reading the strips and I wanted to be confident with the information I took to the doctor. I took my temp and logged it but didn’t analyze anything or look for the patterns myself. 2 months of that I found out I was pregnant after trying for SO long!

I truly think that the more pressure you put on your body the less likely it is to happen, we tried for a year with our 1st and nothing…. on the 12th month we moved house and were so busy doing other things so it wasn’t our main focus, I didn’t track ovulation or anything and that was the month we fell pregnant🙏🩵

I had been ttc for two years and it was becoming a chore. We had decided to start ivf and so the month prior I knew I was ovulating but wasn’t really trying, just made sure I hit one date in my ovulation calander but I’d all buy given up. It was 3 days before ovulation and it happened
