Daughters rash worst with prescribed cream
So for about over a week my daughter had a rash that got extremely raw and would not go away and I tried many different creams, diapers, and use baby washcloths to wipe her and then let her airdry for at least 5 minutes every change. I’ve also been giving her breast milk baths in hopes that that would help. The last few days before I took her it wasn’t getting worse or better. The doctor said it was yeast and prescribed clotrimazole twice a day for 14 days. She’s been using it for 2 days now and now it’s a lot worse. The skin around the raw part of her bottom is now extremely red and feels rough/ raised. I’ll be calling first thing in the morning but I’m not really sure what to do at this point to help soothe it. It clearly hurts her and I just want to make it better. Any suggestions on what could be causing it or possibly what could help at least soothe it until she gets seen again?
