Hi moms, I want your opinion on how I should handle this . We recently had to switched daycares for my 1 and 3 year old bcuz hubby got a new job. First week was rough for my 1 year old as she cried everyday at drop off, but was expected. Second week she finally bonded with one of the main teachers in her class so drop off , little to no crying. This is week 3 now. Today my husband dropped her off and there were two different teachers in the class because the main ones weren’t coming in till later. My 1 year old cried so one of the teachers took her and my husband left the room. However, he stood around the corner to make sure my daughter stops crying and as he was looking through the window he saw my daughter on the floor crying super hard and heard one of the teachers said “ if you throw up on the floor ima call your dad to come and get you !” . Now I don’t expect them to give my daughter special treatment or anything but I feel like if no other kids in the room were crying at that moment they could have held her a bit longer and that comment really still bothers me. Am I just overreacting?
