Has any one else had a uncomfortable but painless birth with no type of pain medication?

The only part of my births that I would describe as “painful” was crowning, and that lasted for less than a minute. Everything else was intense and uncomfortable, but not painful.
I had two home water births and used Hypnobirthing techniques.

my second was an unmedicated birth, I’m not going to lie and say it was painless, but it wasn’t as bad as I would’ve thought, the most painful part was right before I started actually pushing, but once he was out I felt amazing, like I could’ve just got up and walked around lol my first was a medicated birth and recovery was 20x worse by far!

I don’t know about “painless” but it’s a tolerable pain, even when not expecting to birth naturally. It’s a lot of different things happening at once so it’s overwhelming. Contractions are painful and so it’s crowning which is the worst. Pushing is is a lot of relief and after all is set and done the body goes back to feeling great (sore but not in pain) right away. After having a medicated and an unmedicated birth experience I’ll give a shot to unmedicated before I choose an epidural again.

My contractions was when I felt pain. It was all in my lower back. I didn't feel delivery at all with either of my kids. I didn't use drugs or get an epidural.

My first birth was precipitous and unmedicated. It happened so fast. I expected pain but that is not how I’d describe it. It was the most intense and overwhelming sensation I’ve ever experienced. If I could do it over and over again, I would. My second birth was induced and I was given an epidural. Without a doubt the most traumatizing 4 days of my life! A absolute horror show
