My son is almost 3 and the last couple of months I been worried about his behavior. It made it worse when a family member asked me if he has autism or ADHD.

I worked with kids with autism and I do not think my son has it.

He does have a speech delay but within the last few months he’s been talking more and more so I’m not concerned about that. He hits me and his little sister. He’s very hyper. Always moving. Always running. Always jumping and climbing. He’s always on the go. He throws toys. He’s a picky eater. He can get extremely aggressive if he cannot do something he wants. He hits himself in the middle of a meltdown.

He loves playing with kids. Loves toys. Loves music. He’s been right on track or ahead of all milestones except talking which he does fine now. He loves playing. He loves playing with anyone and everyone including kids we meet at the park or his cousins. He’s on his best behavior in public or other peoples houses except a few times. Only at home he acts out. Hes not potty trained yet. He likes to vacuum and he will keep asking and asking like obsessive over it. If he can’t - it’s a meltdown. He’s not in school yet.

. Can someone just tell me if this is normal or not.

I know I should speak to his doctor and yes I plan to. His appt is next week. I just need advice from other moms.
