I’m a nurse and my bf sent me his blood test results. It said positive for Lyme disease and he’s having a lot of joint pains. I spewed out all my thoughts and he’s mad at me for scaring him. I didn’t say anything scary to me, but I could see all the medical words being scary for him. I’m working a shift now so I wasn’t thinking and just was kind of abrupt but I try to be empathetic and compassionate with all my patients… I just was reckless with him and I feel bad :( I apologized but I feel like he’s still mad. And I feel like he thinks I’m a bad nurse or something.
