My due date was Tuesday. I had my sweep, had a bloody show a few hours later, I’ve had spotting and cramps and irregular contractions. I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced, so I was hoping it would work. And being my third, I was hoping it would work quickly. Nope. I’m in pain, all of my joints hurt, I’ve been nauseous, everything is swollen. And my doctors won’t induce until 41 weeks. Meanwhile, my sister-in-law, who’s due 2/14, her doctors are inducing her today at 1pm, because “her baby is ready”. What the hell???
