What happens when you feel youre outgrowing your partner? I feel like I continue to mature while my husband remains adolescent minded. I'm trying to get back into school so I can provide a better and more stable life and future for me and my children and my husband settles and is fine. Even seeing I had to take on a full time job to help manage expenses he still doesn't try to further himself. He wants me to still be the housewife I was AND work full-time AND be a full time mom. While he still expects the full time husband treatment. I can't be all of those things and work. I told him if our money making is 50/50 then so is the housework and chores. I hate that modern men want traditional women but also want that traditional woman to work. Buddy, sorry but you can'thm have both. That's not how it works. I used to see my husband as a hard worker but now that I'm stepping up and doing things alone and working I see him as lazy and unwilling to move forward. I really don't want my marriage to fail but I can't make it work alone.
