Potentially going into labor??

So I’m currently 38w3d with baby #2. For the last 2-3 days I’ve been having some pretty intense period like cramps that last for a good minute but only happen 2-3 times before stopping completely. This is an every day thing, but they never progress past happening just a few times before stopping. Haven’t lost my mucus plug and my waters haven’t broken. I do have an OB appointment on Monday but I’m hoping that this is my labor starting and I’ll get to have my baby soon. Anyone else had these that ended up being the real thing??
