Induced 1/25- sent home!

I feel like I’m the opposite of most women posting here. I’m seeing this group of ladies starting to have their beautiful babies- but not me, haha!

I arrived at the hospital to be induced 1/25 (39 weeks- hyper tension). They had me on high doses of Pitocin for 24 hours and I only dilated to 3cm. Definitely had and felt super strong contractions. However, they said baby isn’t ready to come out… and sent me home! Our new induction date is 1/31. Really hoping he is ready to come out by then!

Has this happened to anyone else?
