Venting…worried

My husband may have just lost his job due to chewing at work ( it had previously been banned due to being food grade). Now he does not know for sure if he lost his job or if he is just in suspension nor for how long. He just doesn’t seem worried. I am angry, worried, scared. I am I wrong!m?
