I don’t have much (if any) resentment towards him in other areas, but when we’re sick… omg. I get so angry.

When I’m sick I still have to take care of the kids (5 month and 4 year old) and cook dinner. My husband works onsite so he’s gone from 9:30AM-8:40PM so he can’t help a whole lot. Not that big of a deal to me most of the time.

My problem is when he’s sick. He will call out of work and rest in bed. He has the same illness as me and the kids (usually colds brought home from school by 4y) and he gets to rest all day. Part of me is understanding, he needs his rest but a BIG part of me is angry, cause I don’t get a day off or the rest I need. So I feel like even though he’s sick he can sleep in a little and take a nap at some point but should still help around the kids and/or house. Especially since we’re all still sick too.
