My due date was 1/23/24. I had been stuck at 4cm dilated and 80% effaced. I had 2 sweeps and baby boy wasn’t budging. I went in on Friday 2/2 for an induction. They tried 6 times to get an iv in and blew 5 veins. They started pitocin at 4pm, by 7:22, I was 7cm dilated and started having awful back contractions. I asked for an epidural and by the time he had the line in, I was ready to push. The epidural kicked in for the last few pushes and he was born at 8:22. He is 8 lbs, 6 oz and 21 inches long. We could not be more in love 😍
