Boyfriend cancelled reservations for Valentine's Day and is mad at me
My boyfriend made reservations for a really nice restaurant for us to go to on Valentine's Day and he got really mad at me and called and cancelled. It's my fault he got upset. I'm taking responsibility for that. We were talking about a situation that involved him and an ex. He's bisexual and has only ever dated one guy because that relationship ended up in court for personal reasons. Long story short something less than consensual happened in the relationship. I gave my opinion on something I had no business giving my opinion on which is what I think consent looks like in same sex relationships. I wasn't trying to say what happened was ok. I was more saying how gay/bi men tend to be more sexual and how the lines of consent can get blurred and honestly I had no right putting my opinion on what I think consent looks like in his situation. I'm also a woman so I can't comment on what sex looks like in gay relationships. He got mad at me said I am fucking awful for saying that. I think he took it as me defending his ex and I understand how it came off that way. He's mad at me and I really want to fix it. I shouldn't have given my opinion on it.
