In laws and my baby

Serene

Ive been having issues in my marriage, mainly due to my inlaws. Weve been married for 4 years and they were so nice to me before. However ever since i gave birth 9 months ago theres been issues as to why the baby cries when he sees them or why im "overprotective". I find myself quite normal in wanting my kid to be away from sharp plastic toys or if he cries, sometimes my husband and i give comments on being a bit more gentle when playing with him. They are super loud and i believe thats the main reason he gets scared. (Obviously). I am labelled as overprotective and my inlaws told my husband yesterday that his wife (me) doesnt want us around the kid and he belongs to the family not just me. Am i supposed to let my child scream at the top of his lungs and not interfere so that they like it? I dont understand. I feel as though to them i should come second and they come first. How 2oukd you deal with this?
