Bacteria vaginosis

So I got bv . And I understand it’s basically just overgrowth of bad bacteria but google keeps bringing up multiple sex partners . I’ve been with the same guy for 7 years . This my first time having bv , can this mean he’s been cheating ? I do want to say I have been bleeding for 7 months since I had my son . And usually when me and him have sex I start to have a odor if he cum inside me , idk why that happens so I don’t wanna just assume it’s him cheating and it can be any of these other things
