TV isn't going to make a child autistic. According to leading psychiatrists, TV itself isn't damaging children. The part that's damaging children is what they're missing out on while watching TV: they're missing out on social interactions, physical feedback, learning kinetically, practing oral and physical skills, observation and attention to sounds, etc. TV won't delay your child, but missing out on life might.
