Chemical pregnancy info

Is there a link between when implantation occurs and chemical pregnancies or early miscarriage? I got my first very faint positive on 9dpo so I think implantation happened 7 or 8dpo. I have read you are more likely to experience a chemical pregnancy the later you impant. Is that true?
