Babygirl is here ❤️

Chontey

On February 12 I was scheduled to be induced at 8pm. All day long I had some light cramping nothing consistent. I was resting then on my feet. I did some yoga as well.(my due date was February 12). That night we arrived at hospital and I was hooked up to the machine to see her heartbeat and monitor if I was having contractions. I was nervous but excited. My husband and I were talking and laughing, he also prayed. The nurse came in room by 9pm. She asked me if I felt my contractions because I just had to big ones. I didn't feel them at all. So they decided not to induce me because my body was already doing the work for me.By 10:00 2 nurses came back in. I was feeling the contractions at this point. She did a quick sonogram and babygirl literally looked and smiled 😂😊. She checked my cervix next which hurt so much. I was 7-8 cm dilated, she could feel the water but babygirl was moving around so much. The contractions were just coming stronger and faster.my husband rubbed my back and tummy as I did breathing. 11:30 she came back in I was fully dilated and I had to push. As she checked my cervix she said when you feel pressure push. So I did water broke. My husband holding my hand encouraging me. 2 other nurses came in and I pushed 2-3 times before I started crowning. By this time I was exhausted in more pain.(i was up since 6 am that morning, had pressure and leg pains all night)

I looked at my husband and he could see I was going to cry I started shaking a bit. He just kept talking positive to me and rubbing me. And then I did one big push and baby girl was born. Everyone was amazed at how calm I was said it was a beautiful labor. Baby girl latched on great. She was healthy. I was healthy.

To that Dr that criticized me said my baby will be 5lbs I knew all along she was okay and God had us.

Her name is Chynise Yvette, 7lbs 2oz, 19 in.

(My other children were safe at home with their big brother who did an amazing job watching them, so proud of him for stepping up and his younger siblings for listening and behaving I'm proud of them too) 🥰😍 Now we're all home together
