Hi all, I currently have my autistic niece in my care via social services, who I am going for a SGO (Special Guardianship Order) for and I am potentially gonna be getting my great niece placed in my care as soon as she's born (due 5th March), due to my niece living with my sister (her mum) and her mum being on drugs and still in contact with the on/off boyfriend who has been posed as a risk to both my nieces and it not being a safe environment for my 10 year old niece let alone a newborn baby. The niece who is pregnant, she is 17, 18 next week and she's not mentally a 17 year old. She has expressed that she wants to commit s**c**e and also wants to harm the baby, so the baby may be getting placed with me. I do have 3 kids of my own, but they're all older (22, 17 & 13), so it's been a while since I have looked after a newborn, apart from my nephews, who are all young. So, I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully have people who I can talk to and let steam off when needed.
