I’m breastfeeding and I don’t have health insurance currently (they decided to just cancel it without talking to us) 
 I am MISERABLE and I’m able to handle colds just fine but it’s getting worse I feel like in the mornings and I need medicine :( the home remedies aren’t working!
What medicine can I use for sore throat and stuffy nose?

I had the same symptoms a few weeks ago. I usually increase my vitamin C intake around cold season but when I’m sick I take about 3000mg a day. Consult with a medical professional obvs but this is what works for me rn while breastfeeding. I try to stay away from cold and flu medicine because some can decrease your milk supply and I had such a hard time getting mine up.

Try eating a spoon of raw honey and make some ginger tea from the root. Personally, I always try the natural stuff first. Hope you feel better soon!!

I had one of those horrible throat flu/colds and this is what i blended together: *garlic *ginger *unions(preferably red but any will do) *lemon/lemon juice *honey *boiled hot water....make a lot so you can drink it through out the day as needed. Put in a container and store in the refrigerator..and as you jump in bed for the night...have you a fishermans friend(safe for breastfeeding). Hope this helps and get better soon mama.
