Retail jobs

I use to work in retail. And now I work a 9-5 office job.

Everyone in my life was proud of me for working this job because they thought I was going to work a part time retail job forever.

I’ve been working at my office job for over 3 years now. And I absolutely hate it. I come home crying often. I’m always stressed out. I hate it.

I’ve been looking for another job but it’s been hard.

I’ve been thinking about going back to the retail job just until I find another job where I make more money.

When I told my mom this, she wasn’t too happy about it. She doesn’t want to see me go back to the store.

I don’t think it’s a big deal. A job is a job. She said she doesn’t want to see me going back to working weekends and holidays. Which yes that sucks, but it is what it is.

I’d rather be happier at the store making less money than miserable at my office job making more money.

And yes making less money does stress me out too. But I would be happier.
