6 weeks PP

Hey guys I’m six weeks postpartum and I’ve been bleeding the whole six weeks. It stopped at 4 in a half weeks and just came back a couple days ago but I’m not sure on whether or not it’s postpartum bleeding or maybe period blood. How can y’all tell the difference? It’s a lot darker than it has been a lot more heavier is there anyway I can tell by looking at it? Does period blood smell the same as post bleeding or are they two completely different smells?
