Growing pains in newborns ?

Anyone heard of growing pains in newborns ? I’m a first time mum with a 2 week old. She stretches her legs and hands a lot in some discomfort and arches her back awake and asleep. I was told by the nurse that it’s growing pains in their first 2 weeks and is normal. Anyone facing the same ? TIA
