I think it’s pretty darn dope that some fathers are given paternity leave from their job. I kept asking my hubby for about a week do your job offer paternity leave? He kept saying, he don’t think so but he’ll look into it. He finally asked and his boss told him yes he would be granted paternity leave for 6-8 weeks with pay. When I tell you I was completely shocked lol. We literally cried tears of joy because I know I will need the help.

I say all of this to say, mommies make sure your husband, boyfriend, whomever ask about paternity leave because yes it is rare for certain jobs but nothing beats a try. Hubby was one of the men that thought it was only granted for mothers. US isn’t so bad after all when it comes to maternity/paternity leave.
