Has anyone ever had this? Specifically have you had one in your abdominal wall? About 2 weeks ago I found a lump on the left side of my abdomen. My OB said he thought it was a hernia or just scar tissue from my C-sections, however it was nowhere near my C-section. I got a second opinion from my PCP who said he did not agree at all and was concerned about it. I was sent to a general surgeon who said he believed it was an endometrial cyst as I have endometriosis but wanted to have a CT to confirm. I had a CT done and the results were not conclusive but confirmed a 1.3 cm nodule embedded in my abdominal muscle. It is not a cyst though. The results said it could be a hematoma, endometrial implant, scar tissue or neoplasm. The general surgeon is saying that he thinks it's a endometrial implant and that he's not worried that it's cancer but he also doesn't want to leave it and and wants it removed. I'm having really bad health anxiety about it and am worried that it is a sarcoma. Everything I read about endometrial implants is that it is super rare for them to be in the abdominal wall, like only 20 reported cases. I'm just looking to see if anybody's had a similar experience or had one in the abdominal wall.
