Hi ladies!

I was wondering if anyone else can relate to having defecation syncope. I looked up my issue and this is what it is. Basically I will get the worst stomach pain ever and have to use the bathroom, and when trying to go my whole body gets drenched in sweat, my ears start ringing really bad, and i get super lightheaded I almost faint. I literally have to lay on the ground mid-bowel movement just to avoid passing out.

This has happened randomly over the last couple years but it just happened again and apparently it could possibly mean an underlying disease ???

I’ve had IBS/intestinal problems for years as I am basically always constipated and only go every few days.

Usually the syncope supposedly happens from straining to go to the bathroom, but most of the time I don’t really need to strain when I’m having one of these episodes because it comes out like liquid!!

Idk, it’s super painful and I’m planning on telling my doctor when I go this month, but I was just wondering if anyone else had experience with this and if it meant something worse than it is! Im just paranoid hahahah. Thanks!
