A Gentle Nudge for My Hubby...
I found out I was pregnant last week. 🥳🥰 It's my first pregnancy and I couldn't be happier if I tried! My mood swings and sensitivity are out of this world, so I've been getting easily offended and hurt by my husband. He's a hard worker, working 6 days a week from 6:30am to sometimes 6pm and it's really starting to affect him. (Keep in mind, I'm a Pre-K teacher, so I totally understand the exhausting, stressful job aspect 100%....it's NOT an easy job) Since I'm a brand new preggo momma, I've been a bit touchy when his irritability comes out. I've asked him not to take out his bad moods and exhaustion on me, even reminding him that I'm having a hard time controlling my emotions, and this morning, he demanded that I not use my pregnancy as an excuse. I really don't think he understands just what me and my body are going through as much as I do since I have the What to Expect book to help me learn. My question is this: is there a book like What to Expect When You're Expecting, but for dads? I'd love for him to understand what I'm going through month by month, so I'm looking for a book to gently nudge him in the right direction. I'm tired of arguing, I'm tired of crying, and it's all just so, so silly. I KNOW he's not trying to upset me, but it's not working. 😅 Please give me all the suggestions you can!!! 🩷
