Baby is here safe and sound
This past Friday morning March 8th- I had a dream that I was in labor and woke up with my water broken. I was 38 weeks and baby was scheduled for a c section on the 14th. My dreams were intense my whole pregnancy and this one especially was so realistic. I went to the hospital at 3am and by 8:43am Adrian Jacques was in the world. This was my second c section after my first son was born as an emergency because I was in labor for 27 hours and pushed for four. Aiden jus wouldn’t come out so they had to perform one. This time around I was more aware during the surgery and it was very traumatizing. I had so much scar tissue from the last one that my intestines and bowels were basically stuck to the walls of my abodomen and they needed 4 extra surgeons to cut through the scarring. I literally smelt my flesh being burned and now I am worried about the healing process this time around.
I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this as well! My drs were fantastic but I was literally pretrified during the surgery. I asked to stay one extra day at the hospital because I’m in intense amount of pain and now I’m worried about my recovery at home. My older son is already eight so I forgot lol hard the healing process really is! Does anybody have any advice on how to heal faster?? or any experience or advice about the scarring tissue from the previous C-section?
I am also exclusively breast feeding and my nipples are raw and in pain. I just purchased some products from Amazon but I am up to any suggestions as well. Thank you in advance 💙💙
