CareSource or Ambetter Insurance question

My husband is starting his own handyman business. Once he goes full time we will need to buy our own health insurance (we are currently on his from work, and my work place is a small family run business that doesn’t really offer it)

The marketplace was a nightmare and overwhelming. We have a local insurance broker that we’ve always used for our car/home insurance and now small business. They also have a department dedicated to health insurance. The 2 plans they offer right now are CareSource and Ambetter. Honestly both plans to pay for are expensive and the deductibles are scary. But we need it.

I’ve checked and the local doctors here that we see are in network for those.

But I don’t know anyone else who uses them. We have been on PHP or Anthem for years and their coverage was great. I’m worried we will go from great coverage to awful for such money.

I’m just wondering if anyone on here uses any of those in Indiana and what your experience has been?
