Just had my 2nd, my sweet boy on Wednesday via csection. All the tests & US all pregnancy were normal and upon arrival the waiting team saw some abnormalities. He was diagnosed with VATER syndrome/association which happens in 1 out of 10,000-40,000. He was immediately transferred to children's hospital and had his first surgery at 2 days old which went perfectly well and he is stable. I am happy and blessed he is doing good and finally saw him today in the NICU with big sister and husband. But upon arriving home all I want to is cry since this was unexpected and we came home without him. And it's not like im not positive about everything but tears just won't stop flowing.
