Induction Experiences

Hello Mama's, can you share your experiences with induction please? My due date was supposed to be May 3rd. Sadly, I am looking at getting induced at the ending of this week or early next. It depends on how my appointment on Thursday goes. But each of my visits, my BP has been too high. So, I get sent to L&D for monitoring. Which is why my OB is suggesting induction. I make 37 weeks this Friday. So, I think she's aiming for me to be induced around then. Anyhow, this isn't what I was expecting. But I just want baby to be healthy and safe. I am a FTM and any advice and experiences are appreciated.
