What is the best way to correct behavior and have positive parenting and discipline? Age eight

What would you do if they do not want to do the chore? Do you do the chore yourself or wait until they do the chore sometimes you ask them to clean up and they clean up quickly and leave everything a mess so they can go play how can you correct the behavior they will complain they don't want to clean or pick up anything.

How do you not end up doing everything over again or doing the chore you set for your children yourself?

The child gets frustrated tell me they can do whatever they want and they don't have to do the chore and they say NO it frustrating for us both.

It's the same for a lot of things like wrappers and trash I ask please place your garbage in the trash and it's all over the house and please pick up and there's toys scattered everywhere and there's times the children are playing, running, jumping in the house and I ask them to use indoor voices and to not run in the house but they respond we can do whatever we want
