I had a membrane sweep at 38w5d. The day before my membrane sweep I was having contractions 6-7mins apart but not strong enough. I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Today I’ve had discharge on and off, and before bed I had the biggest amount of discharge. I don’t know if this is me losing my mucus plug or simply discharge bc of the membrane sweep. I’ve contracted on and off today, a bit stronger than before I had the membrane sweep. Is too soon for me to get excited about labor? Can it really be around the corner? Anyone been through something like this? This is also my first pregnancy and baby and I’m a ball of nerves atm.
