Sleep through the night?

Question

I have a 7 month old, and she has only slept through the night a few times…which is fine! I’m not concerned about that…but some people are very surprised, thinking babies sleep through the night at her age. I just wanted to see…if you guys have babies 6+ months, do they sleep through the night or how often do they wake? Would love to hear details in the comments.

My 11 month old still wakes up around 3:30-4 every morning. It is what it is.

My first started waking only once for his bottle at 6 months. I usually had it made and right by him. But that would be at like 4AM and he’d stay asleep until 9/10AM

My son didn’t start sleeping through all the way until he was between 2 and 3 years old.

My first slept through (12h) from 12 weeks old. My second didn’t do that until about 11m.

Both my kids woke 1-4 times a night until weaned off the breast or bottle. 
11m old for my daughter and 15m (12m corrected) for my son.

My daughter only started sleeping through the night in her toddler bed at 18m

My first is 3.5 and still doesn't sleep through the night. My 16 month old has slept through the night since he was 3 months old.

Unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand that sleeping longer stretches is totally developmental and every baby is different. My nephew started sleeping all night within the first couple months, whereas my son didn't stay asleep all night long until he was about one and a half. He was still waking once or twice a night at 7 months, more if he was sick or teething.

My baby is 9 months and has never slept through the night! I dont think its anything to worry about sleep is developmental and many children dont sleep through until after 1yr old
