Why Are Periods Heavier After Miscarriage??

Hello all 💘 I had my first miscarriage (after 4 babies) around February 23rd (was approx. 6-7 weeks pregnant)……I’ve already had a first period, which was super heavy and lasted about 7 days (my periods usually last 5 days) and I’m now on my second period after the miscarriage and it’s still extremely heavy (soaking through SUPER sized tampons within an hour or two). Is this all normal? Why is this? How long do the heavy periods last? Any tips would be greatly appreciated 😊 thanks so much 🩵
