April baby!

Welp! Our May baby turned into an April baby!

She is here!! And beautiful!

She was born at 7:18pm

7lbs 8oz

18 1/2 inches long

She has red hair like her mama!! 😁😁😁

We were admitted Monday night to start thinning my cervix (not dilated at all), after 1/4 tablet of med, they switched to pitocin to see if that would jump start my dilation. No go- they put in a foley balloon to manually thin my cervix. This got me to a 4-5cm but not effaced and she was not moving downward. Received the epidural so we were ready. After 22 hours of working on her, she decided she was totally done with us and didn’t want to progress or come out at all. We had to do a c-section. I was totally scared and crying about it because that is huge to me. I have never had that nor any type of surgery that cuts me open! But I’m glad we did! She had her cord wrapped around her neck which was keeping her from going lower into my pelvis and dilating. She is perfect! 😍 I will share a picture and her name when we all get settled in. 🩷
